Remain proactive and open to every opportunity, whether its academic, social or extracurricular.

I had the privilege of studying Diploma of Architect at Tupou Tertiary Institute (TTI) which is SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGY (SOAT) from 2017 to 2018, and it was an extraordinarily experience. After graduating from TTI, I continued my studies at Unitec (Auckland, New Zealand), where I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management between 2019 and 2022. Following my graduation, I returned to TTI to teach, contributing to the academic growth of students and sharing the knowledge I’ve gained along the way.

One of my fondest memory of TTI was where I had the opportunity to collaborate with classmates that were way older than myself also majority of them were males, and instructors on site visit days. These days were challenging and also inspiring to myself during my TTI days LOL. It was a time when I felt my personal and academic growth the most.

My favorite spot on campus will always be the STUDENT HUB. In this space we get to meet new people from different schools make friend but mostly will be some free lunch provided by some school clubs.

During my time at TTI my role model was just my father. His dedication and trust just gave me the courage that I could reach the destination that we all aimed for, not forgetting my lectures that helped me during my studies at TTI.

I was fortune to cross-credit some of my course internationally through Unitec, and I currently work as a Construction Management at Cabella Construction.

TTI provided me with both the practical skills and theoretical knowledge needed to excel in my career.

My advice to current students is to remain proactive and open to every opportunity, whether its academic, social or extracurricular. Take full advantage of your time at TTI by learning from both your success and failures.

My last advice will be to all those young ladies out there come on let us show who runs the world not only man/boys can do this course us to ladies are also welcomed in this school.

"ONCE A SOAT ALWAYS BE A SOAT."
