Tupou Tertiary Institute Research and Training Centre

The Tupou Tertiary Institute Research and Training Centre was established in 2013 to promote the development of high-quality, tertiary education–based research that is collaborative, strategically focused, and contributes to significant knowledge transfer through training.

Serving as the research arm of Tupou Tertiary Institute (TTI) and the Free Wesleyan Church Education System (FWCES), the Centre plays a pivotal role in advancing educational excellence within the Church’s institutions.

As outlined in its current strategic plan, the Free Wesleyan Church Education System recognizes research as a fundamental component of educational development. In alignment with this vision, the establishment of the Research and Training Centre at Tupou Tertiary Institute underscores the vital role of research in tertiary education and emphasizes the importance of evidence-based information in guiding future developments across all sectors of the FWC education system.
