Cisco Networking Academy is a comprehensive e-learning program that provide students with Internet Technology Skills. A Network Academy delivers web-based contents, online assessments, student performance tracking and hanf-on Lab to prepare students for Industry-Standard certification. The CCNA curriculum includes four courses oriented around the topics of the Cisco Certified Network Associates (CCNA) Certification

Cisco Systems is a large corporation that produces computer networking products and services. The Linksys brand of consumer networking products is also an owned subsidiary of Cisco Systems.

Cisco Routers:
Cisco Systems is undoubtedly best known for their line of network routers. These products range from basic consumer routers under the Linksys brand to top-end routers that help form the backbone of the Internet. Besides routers, Cisco Systems produces numerous other types of network equipment including VPN, storage, and video conferencing systems.

Cisco Network Certifications:
Cisco's network certification program is world recognized. Popular Cisco certifications include the CCNA, CCNP and CCIE. These programs are intended to recognize knowledge and experience in computer networking, particularly in routing and switching. Students and professionals may seek to take certifications from Cisco Systems to improve their skills and employability.

Cisco Certified Network Associates (CCNA) Certification 1 - 4 are covered within the School of Information and Technology Level 5 & Level 6 Courses for fulltime sudents. These course are,

--->   IT5 117 - Fundamentals of Computer Systems Administration (CCNA 1 - 2)
--->   IT6 217 - Network Technologies (CCNA 3 - 4)

Purpose
This Course are available to anyone who are interested in Networking. Participants are more than welcome to join and improve skills with the lastest cisco devices which will enhance the quality of operations within IT environment

Time / Durations
Cisco Certified Network Associates (CCNA) Certification 1 - 4 are run after working hours around 5pm - 8pm twice a week. Final decision for timetable are confirm by each Instructor depend on the student availability & work priority

Each Courses, CCNA 1 -  4 are scope for a duration of 3 months each. Final decision for each courses duration are confirm by each Instructor depend on how far that particular course run

For each courses of CCNA 1 -  4 to be effectively and available for student / staff to apply & register, a maximum of no less than 10 student enroll otherwise that course will be cancel according to our policy

CCNA 1 -  4 Courses are not offer in the same time, Each courses are take and done before the next one one start. At the moment CCNA 1 & CCNA 3 are available. Each Courses are close to their final Examination at the end of the year. Next Courses are the beginning of next year that is CCNA 2 - 4
